Peter Jackson
Managing Director
A Civil Engineer by profession, Peter has more than 35 years’ experience in design, construction and maintenance. After occupying a Senior Management role within Local Government, Peter joined Cambria in 2011, becoming Managing Director in 2019. Peter is passionate about delivering the best possible service to Wales & West Housing’s residents, drawing on his experience in a variety of senior client and contracting roles. As Managing Director, Peter is responsible for the strategic leadership, development and sustainable growth of the business. This includes exploring what additional services Cambria can deliver and keeping pace with the ever-changing demands of the housing maintenance sector. Peter is a Board member of Bron Afon Community Housing and is a Director of Afon Community Services Limited.
Geraint Parry
Head of Maintenance Delivery
Born and bred in Flintshire, North Wales, Geraint studied engineering before enjoying a varied career working in the media and then running his own DIY business. A qualified plumber, Geraint started working for a local contractor in North Wales in 2008 before joining Cambria Maintenance Services in 2013, first as a Team Leader and later as an Operations Manager. Now Principal Operations Manager, Geraint oversees operations as part of a team working to deliver a quality service to the residents of Wales & West Housing.
David Milligan
Operations Manager
David joined Cambria Maintenance Services in 2021 as Operations Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles for MSS Group, specialising in asbestos, legionella, fire and radon compliance work. He started his career as an apprentice carpenter working on site and within maintenance, before gaining a foundation degree in surveying and moving into the field of property compliance.
Wayne Morris
Operations Manager
Wayne started working life as an apprentice mason paver. After completing his apprenticeship he went on to work for many major construction companies. 2002 saw Wayne take a career change and obtain a degree in Youth & Community work, while working with young people in construction, helping them to gain qualifications in their chosen trade. Wayne then joined Wales & West Housing as an Asset Management Officer before being seconded to work in Cambria Maintenance Services in 2011. He enjoyed working for the company so much that he applied for a permanent Operations Manager role.
Gareth Perkins
Operations Manager
Originally from Brecon, Gareth moved to North Wales in 1972 where he finished his education. He completed a City & Guilds course in Plumbing, Heating and Gas working for a local heating company, before holding numerous roles with large contractors as a gas/heating professional, which included working on new build properties. Gareth has experience of managing service delivery at both local and regional level and is currently Operations Manager for Cambria Maintenance Services in North Wales.
Leon Carrington
Operations Manager
Leon worked for a local contractor from 2008, studying in the evening and working on site during the day. He joined Cambria Maintenance Services in 2013 as a Trade Operative and has experience in all reactive and planned maintenance, including physical adaptation work, which he passed on to others when he progressed on to a role as Lead Trade Operative. Leon was appointed Operations Manager in 2021 and is enjoying the challenges of his new role as he continues his career with Cambria.
Nicole Parsons
Operations Manager
After completing A-Levels, Nicole started her career in architectural practice, moving to Jewson, part of the Saint Gobain Group, where she worked for 10 years gaining extensive knowledge of material supply and procurement. She joined Cambria Maintenance Services in 2011 as part of the administration team, moving on to become Office Manager and then as a Repairs Systems Officer for Wales & West Housing. Nicole returned to Cambria as Operations Manager in North Wales, before transferring to the Cardiff office to take up the same role in her home region, South Wales.
Abigail Gaughan
Operational Support Manager
Abbie has over six years’ experience in property maintenance working with the social housing sector and a range of commercial clients. She joined Cambria Maintenance Services in 2020 as Operational Support Manager and enjoys making a difference to communities across Wales through providing an excellent maintenance service to Wales & West Housing’s residents. Abbie is proud to be part of the values-led Wales & West Housing Group culture, which drives everything we do at Cambria Maintenance Services.
